There is no shortage of South American restaurants in Dubai, but on Friday 9 December, a fantastic new eatery is throwing open its doors inside the iconic Atlantis, The Palm.
En Fuego (which means “on fire” in Spanish) promises diners an exhilarating South American experience that takes entertainment to new heights. We’ve been told to expect fire performers, aerial hoop artists, an energetic tango duo and gravity-defying aerial acrobats.
Columbian chef Daniel García’s menu captures Latin America’s most beloved dishes, including grilled celeriac, fresh ceviche, shrimp tiradito, corn-fed chicken, and grass-fed sirloin. Each uses the continent’s unique techniques and rich history to create memorable and tasty dishes.
The restaurant even features a guacamole altar, where guests can preach to the ‘green gold’. Taking inspiration from a sushi counter, this concept showcases different versions of the popular avocado mixture, from ‘Rock Out With Your Guac Out’ which is topped with roasted corn, cotija cheese and sour cream, to the ‘Smoking Guac’ which is mixed with smoked avocado, fresh coriander, and roast poblano pepper.
The restaurant space encompasses four indoor and outdoor spaces that have been purposefully designed to immerse guests in a sensory journey through South America.
En Fuego is expected to deliver a multi-sensory dining experience in a venue where bright colours, electrifying acts, and ceilings featuring hundreds of dangling objects keep guests entertained.
